• 1591™ White T-Shirt: Available in men’s and women’s cuts, XS–3XL, with bold back graphic by award-winning designer Michael Deason and the 1591™ shield on the chest
• Red Pañuelo: The iconic running of the bulls bandana, embroidered with the 1591™ shield — to be worn around the wrist until July 6th, then tied around the neck at the Txupinazo
• Red Faja: Your running of the bulls sash, traditionally knotted tightly at the left hip for the full festival

All items are produced in collaboration with a trusted local print shop in Pamplona, ensuring garment quality and accurate sizing for North American travelers.

A SEA OF WHITE & RED: GET YOUR RUNNING OF THE BULLS UNIFORM
The customary Running of the bulls attire for everyone attending Fiesta is a uniform of white shorts, pants, skirts and shirt accented with a red pañuelo (bandana) and faja (waist sash).

• The white represents his sanctity.
• The red bandana about the neck remembers his blood spilled cruelly.
• The red sash is always knotted tightly on the left hip symbolizing the blood from a knife to his heart.

Local butchers of the time also wore white. The red bandana about the neck captured their sweat, and the red sash about their waist was used to wipe their hands.

Why the Red & White Running of the Bulls Uniform Matters

The running of the bulls uniform is one of the oldest dress codes in Western festival culture — and locals take it seriously. Arriving without the San Fermín attire can cause genuine offense to Pamplona’s community, who have upheld this tradition since the 1500s.

There are men’s and women’s styles of our high quality t-shirts. They’re available in sizes XS – 3XL.

Our running of the bulls clothing is now sized for North American buyers. Unlike traditional Spanish festival gear (which can run 1–2 sizes smaller), our 1591™ shirts are printed through a local Pamplona shop using a sizing scale aligned to US standards.

Join the 1591™ Club: A Running of the Bulls Tradition Since 2006

Social Clubs known as Peña’s are the backbone of the Festival de San Fermin. They provide valuable volunteer support and advocacy for the annual fiesta. Our Official Club “1591” honors the first year of the running of the bulls. The bold graphic on the back of our shirt is a nod to the electric moment in the Opening Ceremony when all in attendance raise their bandana and tie it around their necks in unison. Formed in 2006, the 1591 Club now includes thousands of members from around the globe.
